NATIONAL WEAR RED DAY: WHEN AND WHY
Friday, February 5 is National Wear Red Day, a day to bring attention to the risks of heart disease and stroke in women. According to GoRedForWomen.org:
Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year – more than all cancers combined. Fortunately, we can change that because 80 percent of cardiac events can be prevented with education and lifestyle changes.
Go Red this Friday, and help raise awareness by spreading the word about heart disease, stroke, and prevention.
