According to booking data at Airbnb, some new destinations are rising in popularity this year. Here are the hot spots people are traveling to in 2018 and why:

Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

Indianapolis is first known for fast cars and blockbuster events, but travelers are also flocking here for its flourishing culinary and brewery scene. Enjoy the cool neighborhoods and warm midwestern hospitality.

Whitefish, Montana, USA

A popular ski town and outdoor recreation area, Whitefish is also a short drive to Glacier National Park. The charming town has plentiful attractions, cozy coffee houses, and a variety of restaurants and accommodations to enjoy.

Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada

Sitting on Okanagan Lake in a valley ripe with wineries, Kelowna offers the best of urban and rural life. The waterfront downtown boasts beaches, water sports, bike trails, and trendy eateries. Breweries, wineries, distilleries, orchards, hiking, and plentiful outdoor adventures are all close by.

Gangneung, Korea

The site of the 2018 Winter Olympics is inevitably drawing visitors to seaside Gangneung, Korea. This area is known for its distinct culture, outdoor sports, and beaches with beautiful sunsets.
